John Deere says the new generation of the T-series has been built from the ground up – minus the cab, of course. Changes include a T670i 4-chain thresher feeder that delivers 50% more torque, a heavy duty friction clutch that can handle 900 Nm, and increased conveyor speed to 3.6 instead of 2.8 m/s for more acceleration of the flow of the sloping mass. Behind the threshing conveyor, the old concept of threshing and separating is retained, using a combination of threshing drums and straw walker keys. However, here too there have been changes to improve performance.
